Travelling Light
About
This short is about memory, journey and baggage. Travelling Light is a short stop motion film I worked on over two months during my penultimate semester in Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. It started as an exercise in creating a stop motion scene shot at 24 frames/sec, until… I realized stop motion was way too much fun to stop right there. So it then escalated into this production.
I shot for just over 20 days, by the end of it, I had around 13,000 frames of RAW stills. I’ve been entirely thrilled with every step of the process, be it scripting, storyboarding, production design, character design, camera rig setup, lighting setup and post-production.
