Alok Utsav
A versatile cinematographer and independent filmmaker based in Bangalore who enjoys finding visually impactful ways of telling stories. Since 2014, Alok has shot short films, documentaries, corporate films and social media content for clients such as Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, WeWork India, Wipro, Cure.Fit, IPL, Star Sports, BankBazaar.com, Decathlon, Cisco, and more. Since 2016, he has covered numerous Indian cricket matches as a producer, editor and cinematographer, from IPL 2023 to ICC T20 World Cup events, creating match previews, reels, sponsor content and more. He also toured with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for 6 years of IPL seasons as an in-house cinematographer, editor and producer, creating several longform documentary pieces "KKR Films" sponsored by Amazon. Alok graduated from Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology with a major in Digital Video Production. He has also studied Game & Interactive Media Design at Malmö University, Sweden, during an exchange semester.
